A website is like a car; it needs to be checked and maintained from time to time to ensure it continues working optimally. In the case of your site, some forms of code or plug-ins can cause bugs to surface long after the website is tested and approved, or lead to a design flaw somewhere down the road. Therefore it’s necessary to conduct health monitoring and enhancement to make sure performance, stability and integrity are not compromised.
This task is especially critical for websites where end users are allowed to manage website content such as text, images and videos; community and crowdsourcing platforms require constant health checks to ensure non-compliant or conflicting codes and plug-ins don’t cause a site to break down.
