      • Setup, customization, and maintenance of e-commerce platforms.

      • Integration with payment gateways and shipping providers

      • Technical support for hosted online stores is offered only when there is an active subscription or an active maintenance service contract within the active period.

    2. Excluded Services:
      • Management of your products, pricing, or inventory.

      • Marketing and advertising campaigns.

      • Compliance with local or international e-commerce regulations unless explicitly agreed.

    3. Customization Requests:
      • Additional customization or feature requests must be approved through a Change Request and may incur additional fees.

  2. Customer Responsibilities

    1. Content and Compliance:
      • You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all product descriptions, pricing, and policies displayed on your store.

      • Ensure compliance with all applicable e-commerce laws and regulations, including consumer protection and tax laws.

    2. Payment Gateway Account:
      • You are required to create and maintain accounts with supported payment gateway providers.

      • Ensure timely configuration and testing of payment methods.

    3. Shipping Policies:
      • Define and communicate clear shipping terms, fees, and delivery timelines to your customers.

      • Manage any disputes or issues related to shipping.

  3. Data Security

    1. Customer Data Protection:
      • You are responsible for handling customer data in compliance with data protection laws such as GDPR or PDPA.

      • Use secure passwords and access controls for your e-commerce admin panel.

    2. PCI Compliance:
      • For payment processing, ensure your store complies with PCI DSS standards, as mandated by your payment gateway provider.

    3. Security Breaches:
      • Notify us immediately of any suspected or confirmed data breaches involving your store.

      • We will assist with mitigation efforts as outlined in our Security Policy.

  4. Fees and Payments

    1. Service Fees:
      • Fees for e-commerce services are outlined in your agreement or invoice.

    2. Transaction Fees:
      • Additional transaction fees imposed by payment gateways or third-party services are your responsibility.

    3. Late Payments:
      • Late payments may result in suspension of your e-commerce store services until outstanding fees are settled.

  5. Support and Maintenance

    1. Support Scope:
      • Assistance with technical issues related to platform functionality.

      • Updates for plugins, themes, and system compatibility.

    2. Support Hours:
      • Support is available during business hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Singapore.

      • Emergency support for critical issues is available 24/7.

    3. Customer Cooperation:
      • Provide clear descriptions and relevant details when submitting support tickets.

  6. Termination

    1. Termination by Customer:
      • You may terminate services with 30 days’ written notice, provided no active contractual agreements specify otherwise. Fees for completed work are non-refundable.

    2. Termination by Web Temple:
      • We may terminate services for non-payment or breach of terms with 7 days’ written notice.

    3. Post-Termination Obligations:
      • Upon termination, we will provide you with a copy of your store data upon request. Data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.

  7. Amendments

    1. Policy Updates:
      • This Policy may be updated at our sole discretion to reflect changes in our e-commerce services, operational requirements, or legal compliance. Customers are advised to review this Policy on our website periodically to stay informed of any updates.

      • While not obligated, we may provide notifications of significant updates as a gesture of goodwill. However, missed notifications will not excuse non-compliance with the updated Policy.
